Forums - Gaming - Upcoming games this week in germany (ending on March 29)

I don't understand how Clive Barker's Jericho can be released uncut in Germany but a game like Dead Rising was basically banned. Gears of War was basically banned there as well but I can see why in it's case.

Danke für die Info. Jede Woche gern gelesen.

Danke.

OT: Whats with the crap week for Sony? Seriously, I am surprised. Horrible timing though. Why all these games in the same week?

DS is massive as always, two million sellers for sure. Wii - lets see how PES will do.

Ummm, no, sorry. Wrong culture. Try Scandinavia and there you might be right.

Speak for yourself Fax, the Vikings settled all over europe during the middle ages, I myself have red hair and northern "Viking" blood... and I´m very proud of it... Vikings settlers made it all the way to northern africa and turke... they terrorized most of the continent and left their mark in lots of places including germany :)

history is fun :)

(auserdem mussen Germanen aller Länder zusammenhalten... aber nicht zu viel das ist schonmahl ausgeartet :)

well they did, yes, but not much of the Valhalla stuff has survived down where I live. Its as far as I know not even too much considered cultural heritage, as opposed to some other religions (Mithras?)

An interesting thing is, that Dance Dance Revolution is named Dancing Stage here in Germany. Why replace an english name for the german release with ... an english name? That makes no sense. Or do they fear the acronym DDR - I don't think that's a problem, we germans also buy DDR-RAM. So, what's your conspiracy theory, why they renamed the game for the german release.
