Which game is?

The Order looks far better in my eyes.

The Order doesn't have the same scale as Uncharted and quite frankly I'd still give the edge to Uncharted 4.

On side note, Ryse looks arguably better than The Order.

I think Ryse looks better too.

The Order would have looked amazing if it would have been more colorful.

Ryse looks pretty good. Uncharted is a bigger scale but that wasn't the question.

The question of if games really need to look better than uncharted 4 and so i gave an example of a game that already looks better.

Ryse has more color, more detailed enviorments, the levels are bigger, its a game I'm starting to appreciate more because few games look as good.

I didn't just say Uncharted 4 has more scale, I'm saying even with that scale it looks better than The Order. The enviornments in The Order are so bland and static, Uncharted 4 just looks better.

Uncharted 4 full screen 1080p, while The Order is more like 900p in pixel count because of the borders.

I'm perfectly fine with games looking like Uncharted 4 forever.
I see no need for ultra realistic textures, ray tracing and other stuff. It's expensive and I see no point in them.
I like artstyle and the actual gameplay mechanics better then I like textures and graphics.

I rather have games look a bit less realistic while focusing more on functional physics. Spin tires is very cool in how water and mud are the game play, not just eye candy. From dust was a great concept, too bad it was confined to small areas with pretty simple game play.

I would like to see more impact from weather, not just some wobbly trees and a rain effect. Perhaps an action adventure game where you can control and use the weather to your advantage, bit like Wind waker on steroids. Far cry 3 was a step in the right direction where you could set fields on fire to your advantage. I rather have more of that kind of emergent game play than better looking scripted set pieces.

I thought Ryse looked unreal and Uncharted is above that game as far as I've seen, but games still have a looooong to go graphically. What fascinates me at the moment is where 2D graphics will go as well.

There's already some games that look better than UC4, it's not a benchmark, sorry.

Theres no console games that look better imo. That makes it the benchmark others go up against.
