What's the real issue?

You still get to see this videogame characters pants. What's the actual problem?

I'm very upset.

Unneeded changes caused by the tyranical conservativeness of a country that extends its ever enveloping ideals to borders in which it should not directly influence. 

Actually, this is worse.  Yeah, XCX changed totally optional outfits that seem to be mostly there for the lulz, but at least the changes were plainly visible.  This change will be for the most part completely unnoticed.  Cause it's a change to the underwear of a character who wears a freaking dress.  This is so NOT news worthy and so inconceivably minor that the fact some will try to make a fuss over this is mind numbing.

After watching the video the panties are barely visible in the first place, the censorship isn't the issue, square enix not sexualizing their characters enough for my enjoyment is the problem!

Censorship is censorship. Just because it has only noticably changed in one thing, we simply do not have the insight to know what else it has changed. There could have been numerous changes. 

It's an unneeded change that doesn't change anyones actual experience playing the game, as you still see this videogame characters underwear.

But it needlessly covers more skin to help ease the minds of a few people overseas. Where's the creative freedom?

The real pervs are the ones who complain about it. They're the ones looking for the panties to complain about to begin with
