Simply saying where these alleged criminals are from is racist? The bar has gotten really low, sounds like people hate facts.

I was going to agree with you until someone pointed out that when it's usually a white person committing the same crime they don't say British, or American,  or German, they usually just say someone has been caught for committing such and such an act.

Well if its someone feom another country I think its okay to point it out.

But reporting rape stories in general is useless given they are cherry picked by whats more interesting or upsetting. This is why I dont watch local news.

That's pretty much how media spins everything. White guy shoots white guy and it's a 1 minute mention in a single broadcast. White guy shoots black guy or Muslim guy while yelling racial epithets and it's a month-long news bite. "If it bleeds it leads" is the news media mantra. Meaning stories that draw the most ratings will be the ones to get the most attention.

If this is not in line with german constitution, why the official german police report also speaks from afghan immigrants?

because Qwark is making shit up - I guess he is just "in character" for his nick/avatar

Statements made in public that deliberately incite hatred against certain individuals or groups in society are punishable.

This is the law pointing out the very origin of these people, creates hate against immigrants. Besides what usefull Intel is there to the fact that these are immigrants.

Swedish law forbids registration based on people’s ancestry or religion;

Considering Germany and Sweden already share nearly 3/4 of eachother is laws thanks to EU. It's safe to assume that those laws also apply in Germany.

This is our law, considering shading negative light over these immigrants does exactly that it is in fact not legal. It incites hatred against a minority which is punishable by law, rarely executed but still.

So, what's the point with this? You're going to make a thread every time an adult sexually assaults a child? Or will you just ignore those and only pick out the cases where the alleged criminal is an immigrant?

Also, the title states it as a fact but in the article it's only a charge. Which is it? If it's only alleged at this point then why lie in the title?

To be fair, I expect better from immigrants.

If you already have plenty rapist in your country no need to bring more. Also, try to be on good behavior if you are a refugee. I mean youre given an opportunity to live a better life so maybe dont rape.

Here's the thing though: Most immigrants don't do stuff like that. I don't have any exact numbers, but let's say there were 100 cases of rape by immigrants. If we have indeed 1 million refugees in europe, then that's a whopping 0.01 % of rapists among them. According to Statista that's about the exact same rate as in the german population.

There are enough crimes comitted by Germans in Germany too. You don't hear most of these, but just because 2 immigrants are involved in this it's a big deal. Highlighting such cases is a bad practice from the press and it incites/generates hate towards the 1.1 million refugees/immigrants. As explained in a previous post that could be considered against the law, not that anyone will act against it though.

Anyway you should judge these people and lock them up. But inciting hate towards immigrants by specifically mentioning their nationality with eye on current events is only going to feed ectreme right and divide Germany further, what good is that. They should focus on better integration of these people and screening immigrants, not hilight every incident. It gives them a particularly bad image, which causes hate on them, which is in fact illegal even if it is based on actual facts. Meer of Minder Marokkanen by Geert Wilders is also an illegal act, even though in some cases he uses facts to objectify his claims.
