If this is it... God help Nintendo...
Looks like a fake, well I hope it is a fake. The controller is looking bad tbh.
This doesn't look Nintendo-like at all. It looks incredibly uncomfortable and doesn't have the usual buttons.

? it has a "a" and "b" button, along with a "left key" and "up key" on the left hand side, and a "right key" on the right hand side.
The intire point of the "touch screen" gamepad is that you can load any button setup you wish, for whatever game/app you want.
The buttons are there, they are just touch screen based, like when your playing on your phone.

And playing games on a phone is horrible because of it, ever tried nes or snes emulators on a phone? if it's not a turn based JRPG the games are unplayable.
Lack of buttons is objectively the worst thing that could happen to a controller.

This doesn't look good. I will say though that I do really appreciate Nintendo willingness to try new things every single gen. I almost never really like it but someone has to be out there trying to be different.
I have no idea what I'm looking at.
I'm guessing it's fake.

I don't see how you can say something so horrible when Poison is your avatar.
| mountaindewslave said: it has to be fake. Nintendo would never employ a touch screen for a console controller without giving you regular buttons on the face of the controller. Too many of their fans are old school and/or want to play the same way as they used to for games like Zelda, Smash, Mario, etc. I don't buy that controller for a second. not only does it not look practical but it also looks ugly. Bear in mind Nintendo has been one of the stronger worded companies about why the 'full experiences' of their games would not work on smart phones, namely due to the shape and controls. they wouldn't essentially take a phone like device and throw on a few joysticks and call it good. don't buy it for a moment |
Quote or it didn't happen.

Probably because that isn't Poison in my avatar.
