Nice numbers, looks like the Wii U is getting back on track in Japan

Mario Kart sold amazing despite the abysmal hardware sales, but the majority of those sales came from a time when Wii U was still somewhat relevant. The console is utterly dead now, and Zelda is still 8 months away.

I can't believe how weak Nintendo has been after the huge succes that the Wii was. The Wii U is about as expensive as the Xbox and PS4, but the demand is not there. The system itself is a dud and there's hardly any marketing push. It's like Nintendo gave up before they even tried.

PS4 doing so fucking good, and the biggest heavy hitters haven't even hit yet. Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, Final Fantasy XV, Gran Turismo Sport, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian etc. Hopefully this leads Sony to make more and more games for the PS4.

If those numbers are close to the real deal, PS4 is doing great. X1 is struggling a bit compared to where it has been.

Damm, PS3 is a beast !

Dont forget Nier Automata, Ni Oh, Gravity Rush 2 and some others titles :D

Super hyped for Nier and NiOh, especially the latter, but can we consider them as big titles, sales wise?

Of course ! They will be both good quality games, bringing pure gameplay with some fresh ideas with strong devs behind it. Their genres are kinda niche nowadays, and thats all good because it will make it more worthy in gamer's eyes. The exclusive status also will help - exclusives are very often considered as higher quality games than multiplats.

Good reviews + good marketing + good internet mouth= decent first week sales and strong legs.  For example, Nier 1 on PS3 is almost gone in my region, people are buying it to know the fabula before purchasing the sequel. 

Bloodborne for example was killed before release, because a lot of ppl known it will be superhard to beat the game, and simply skipped it. This will not be a problem here.

The arrogance and overconfidance of some of those posts...predicting the Wii-U would pass the Vita in 3-4 months. It makes me smile to see them all proven so very, very wrong. As it does for the Vita to outsell the Wii-U last month by a nearly 2-1 margin. Vita means Life. Wii-U means I want to piss on you. Aaannd that's the most fanboy-ish post I've made in a while. 

So is XBox One heading below 360 now?
