Zelda is GOAT for some but not for everybody.

1. Meta critic wise Zelda is leagues ahead of horizon.
2. Visuals wise horizon is the best visual in console game.
3. With the sales number for horizon and Zelda; horizon is ahead of Zelda. And will comfortably win sales race. Good effort by Zelda but install base matters.

Actually, considering BOTW made those numbers as a launch game and considering attach rates, it has a good chance of winning the sales race in the long run.

Zelda is selling so damn good that not only had the best launch for a debuting console ever but also the Switch version outsold the Switch itself in NA for the whole month of March lol 

Is nonsense that you are already deciding that Horizon will comfortably win when everybody knows Zelda will have epic legs, BoTW has a big chance to outsell Horizon with the Switch version alone, not even counting the WiiU.

So your going for the easy way out? Lol you have to wait awhile before claiming that win especially for 2 reasons.

1) zelda is held back because of install base (its the only game non bundled to hit over 100% in a region, and that region is US)

2) Zelda BotW is ahead of Twilight Princess which is basically in the same situation. (Thats its best comparison). 

FYI Twilight Princess first month was nowhere near Horizons, but it ened up at 8.5mil sold.

So you need to wait✋  Horizon can sell more but your being very unreasonable if your going to claim hdz wins. Your on a website of sales, you should know better smh

The other is exaggerating as well. Especially when that point isnt even guarteed and needs to wait a good amount of time before judging. 

Why list Pro as a platform for horizon? People will still buy the PS4 version since it is the only one that exists.

To be fair, those points matter a heck of a lot more in context. The difference between reaching 97 and 89 is far more meaningful than, say, 89 and 81. It's damn near impossible to top 96.

Either way, the OP's predictions seemed rather reasonable. I really didn't know what to expect from Zelda and, even being cautiously optimistic, I was also blown away by the game we got; they far outperformed what I thought they were capable of in their first true open world 3D adventure game.

Likewise, Horizon looked beautiful from the start and were far less secretive than Nintendo was, so at the time the only game we could be rather confident would be excellent was Horizon. Otherwise, the sales predcitions make perfect sense given the context. He wasn't right, but he had the courage to post his reasoned prediction, something I never feel confident to do myself lol

In the end, both were excellent, and that's the only thing I would have been willing to predict. Trying to ">" which will be more excellent than the other is little more than a blind guess.
