Forums - Gaming Discussion - Shu Yoshida: "Console Debut" means it may come to other consoles in the future after PS4

So now poor Shuhei, a japanese person, has to teach English to some angry stupid - probably american - kids?

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

SONY has been extremely straight forward with gamers about what is exclusive to the PS4, what is not, what may not remain exclusive and what is coming to PC since the reveal of the console.

Kudos to Shu and the guys for keeping it real.

What did people think console debut meant?

English, how does it work?

Some games are being developed for the PS4. But there's no deal ("moneyhat") with Sony, so these publishers can do late ports if they so desire, nothing stopping them. Good guy Sony making sure other people occasionally have something to play.

Sony and MS also pay for timed exclusivity which also translates into the same thing

What game said "console debut"?

Ni No Kuni 2.

In that case probably means 3DS or its successor right?

Lol, hope that guy was trolling. Smashing your ps4 because a game could come to another platform....

Not in this case, as I said there is no deal. They don't have to pay cause third parties use the ps4 as lead platform and will think about ports later. If there was an actual deal they'd be timed exclusives, not debuts.

Who cares if it comes to other systems? The PS console will always be the best library. It's a historical fact.

Ni No Kuni 2 coming to NX confirmed!

And I was told on my other thread that "console debut" means absolutely not the same as "First on PS4"... :P
