My favourite seventh gen console, and one of the best consoles ever made, hardware issues aside.
I actually happen to own the Halo: Reach limited edition, which is a sight to behold (even though I hate the game, which is extremely ironic), and the console has given me tons of enjoyement. Unique moments, almost every one of them fun (some annoyances here and there, like trying to beat Catherine on hard). Opened up the path to experience some truly awesome games (on top of my head, Gears of War, Red Dead Redemption, the aforement mentioned Catherine, Lost Odyssey, Fallout: New Vegas, Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising, Nier, Vanquish, Braid...and the list goes on) and incentivated me in some instances to play online, which is extremely rare because I favor singleplayer almost above everything.
It had its flaws. The very first model came up with almost nothing (it didn't even have HD output, which is why some might argue PS3 was the very first HD console); the second models and onwards broke way too easy. There's a noticeable lack of proper support after 2011, which is around when Kinect came to life (there were some great things though, like the The Witcher 2 port). Paid online, which neither console of the competition had. And one could say MS's first party isn't as strong as Sony's or Nintendo's. And even so, after everything I've said, I still see the console as a truly marvellous thing. I loved all three consoles during the seventh gen - by far, my favourite gen ever, and I truly think every gen should last as much as the seventh gen did, because it gave us gamers tons of things to enjoy (and some to endure, duh) -, but I can honestly point at the 360 and claim that if I had to be stuck with one on a desert island with electricity, it'd be the 360.
