He may be able to pull it off.

It was stated last year that Sony had asked him and he had already turned down the role.

I'm guessing he had bigger movies lined up (ie. Guardians, Lego, Jurassic World). With rumors of studios wanting him to be the next Indiana Jones why would he be Nathan Drake?

I hope Sony will continue to try and get him, he may change his mind.  And I can definitely see him fit the role of Nathan Drake well.

Not going to happen. Nor will this movie work.

The Last of Us is the better contender for making a movie. Even then the casting should be leftfield, not predictable choices. Someone like Mark Ruffalo as Joel would be perfect.

I'll always agree with more Chris Pratt in whatever so I approve this idea.

I don't really see it happening given there's almost concrete rumors that Pratt didn't deny that they're discussing him being Indiana Jones in the future. He's clearly given it thought too, talking about the pressure involved in taking a role like that.

With that potentially on the table I can't see him risking it on basically the video game copy of the real deal. The Nathan drake movies could certainly work, but I don't think he needs to be betting on video game movies right now (attend to range from meh to atrocious) when he's getting far better offers from all the largest franchises. Over them last couple years he's gone from being an actor that would likely taking it to be too in demand to waste his time on it.

I think he's a good choice. He's snarky as well. Fits Drake. Nathan Fillion can play Drake from the 4th game lol.

Anyone is better than Marky Mark, but Chris Pratt was positively terrible in Jurassic World.

Not to say that was his fault or that of the Director, but he still needs to prove himself in my eyes.

He would have made a great Nathan if he were 10 years younger.  But I think his current age is past that role and any sequels.

Guardians of the Galaxy fit him better. The writing in Jurassic World didn't real lend itself to any of the actors coming across well.  Vincent D'Onofrio can be amazing and he came across simple and cartoony to me in it.

On this I'd guess Pratt is going to be Indy before Drake.
