Alright bub. In this day and age, there are A LOT of mothertrucking games out there. It's almost impossible to keep up with all of them and they all cost a pretty, pretty penny. People don't have money to just willy nilly buy every game they might want, so they use reviews. That's the entire fucking point of reviewers. It's so people don't have to buy the game to determine if they want the game. Will they maybe miss out on a game they might have liked by listening to reviewers? Maybe. Maybe not. But that doesn't mean that you can call people sheep because they read reviews. There are shit games out there. DT was one of them. Get over it. If you liked it, great! Good for you! I'm sure there's someone who would enjoy the smell of my shit! Doesn't mean it's a good smell. And if we reviewed my poop like Metacritic, we would see that most people agree the smell sucks ass. That's the beauty of reviews. That's the beauty of Metacritic. Get off your high horse.

So you can't be a Nintendo fan, a Federer fan and a Jamaican at the same time, or is this a very poor and exagerated attempt at implying that it is near impossible to figure whether he/she is a Nintendo fan despite the availability of #1-3, with #3 literally given to you?

Regardless you say in your latest response it was a implied that a Nintendo fan (singular) wrote this complaint. Yet, in your first comment, you comment about Nintendo fans (plural) in a generalization rather than that specifically implied Nintendo fan. Its also clear you are generalizing instead of specifying because your first comment clearly expressesses your suprise at the op's title and what's written, and projecting that individual's thoughts to Nintendo fans in general. There is nothing you wrote, implied or otherwise, that implies otherwise. Which really doesn't make sense to write becasue many thus far, which clearly includes a established Nintendo fans, have disagreed with the op's viewpoint.

I'm way more concerned about the lack of effort in the title, to be honest.

This thread is awful. Most of the people who reviewed the games thought they were mediocre. That's it. Done. End.

This belief that our own personal opinions supersede the general consensus is ridiculous.

It's not a real average. It's a weighted average where some sites and publications are given a heavier value on the overall score.

That and the fact it's only Western reviewers, and not the rest of the world.

Rather than the gameplay isn't fun, it'd be correct to say it's objectively bad. People can still enjoy bad games, it happens and there's nothing wrong with it.

But Metacritic doesn't rate any of those games. Metacritic only collects various reviews and averages the scores into a single score. I suppose all of the sites that gave these games a low score because of the dislike for Nintendo.

Not sure what the indie comment has to do with anything. Just because they're not AAA doesn't mean they can't score high if they're decent. These titles would have scored much higher if they were...you know.....good?
