Nintendo should just do it already. Zelda is populat with girls. Having the option of choosing genders is long overdue.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.
I don't think it's gonna happen, but I would love to see it if the game ended up having a male and female Link (er, Linkle), and had you setting off on different quests with the 2 eventually meeting up.
I'm no storyteller or game designer so I have no idea which way they would do it but it could definitely be done very well if handled right.
