Wouldn't it be ALBW in 2D?

Meh. Ocarina of Time had 1 brilliant dungeon, 4 good ones and 3 bad ones.

4 brilliant, 3 very good ones and 2 good ones.

not to forget the mini dungeons which are also good ... OOT is a dungeon masterpiece.

It doesn't have to score anything. I don't measure my enjoyment of a game by metacritic scores.
While it's fun to look at and cheer for a game on metacritic, that doesn't have any bearing on my personal experience with the game.
All it has to be for me to be satisfied with it, is to be a good game.

I don't care about metacritic, since I'll buy it anyway.
If it has everything I expect from a Zelda game.
Dungeons to complete, sidequests to complete, heart pieces to collect, puzzle solving that takes advantage of my arsenal of weapons, great cast of characters, I'll be a happy customer. And I have faith that they'll deliver on the goods.

it would have to be a zero

nahh. Inside the Deku Tree was very annoying (only because of Navi, but still), Dodongo's Cavern was bad and Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly has to be a contender for worst Zelda dungeon ever. When it comes to mini-dungeons, I thought the Ice Cavern was pretty boring too, while Bottom of the Well was solid.

yeah not everyone can handle the first 3 dungeons. mentally. especially jabus belly but that does not make them bad.

gerudo training ground is also worth mentioning as the best mini dungeon

It's a 3D Zelda game. A score from a review site less than a 9.6 counts as a let down in the eyes of gamers all around, considering the standards.

bet: lost

Don't give a crap about critics, I already know that it will score worse because the "modern open world" aspect is new to Nintendo and expectations were higher.
However, if it scores below 85, I'd be surprised, same goes for a score above 95. I consider both to be unlikely and expect it to be around 90.

I'll play the game anyways. If it works for me, it's a success, if it doesn't, Nintendo at least tried.

To hell with reviews, I never looked at them prior to buying a new game. I listened to what the people had to say and then gave it a try myself to see if I liked it or not.

TO HELL WITH REVIEWS!

Don't care much for the score as long as it feels and plays like a zelda game and I enjoy it. Hopefully should score above an 8.
