What bothers me is that Angry Birds is going to have a far superior movie then Super Mario Bros ever did
Still I'm meh about this movie.

I don't think it looks good so far. Will still probably end up being the most popular videogame movie at the box office to date.
A shame Sony put more corporate backing behind this than the Ratchet and Clank movie..

It's an app as much as a console game is an app. And Angry Birds is a good game. It's simple, fun, and pleasent.

They clearly don't plan on pushing any of their maskot IP the way they should and could. Damn shame. But ND's words on the matter paints a pretty clear picture for what's likely Sony's opinion on these kinds of franchises. They're "above" those kinds of games, now.
I usually try to stay positive about such things, but there is literally not one funny thing or original idea in that trailer.
