With Sony already announcing the Asia and UK price cuts earlier this week, I can't see them waiting over a month till PGW to do this. 

They want to keep the good vibes going so a price cut announcement for America will happen on Monday.

Then during PGW, Sony will announce their first wave of greatest hit titles for PS4 starting with killzone shadowfall, cod ghosts, watch dogs, knack, infamous second son, Last of us remastered for $24.99. 

My first one bold prediction.

Sounds good? Not likely?

It'll happen during the holiday season, to get the full effect.

I disagree. A PGW announcement means that the price drop will be in effect by November, right in time for BO2 + Battlefront, and it'll amplify the hype of the new game announcements right when Halo 5 is out.

It'll create a lot more hype doing it at an official press conference, and just as the holiday shopping season starts. Would they just like post on their Twitter "Oh btw, we're cutting the PS4 price for you :)"? No, you need press to be there, and PGW is the perfect place and time to do that. That's what I think. Oh well, it's not like we'll have to wait for long.

I don't think we'll see a price cut for the PS4 in North America. Sony want a lot of dough.
