I actually thought the first season or two were the weakest. It wasn't until 3-5 that they really hit their prime.

the simpsons are just a caricature of themselves these days, they had good episodes, but nothing ever even close to as good as futurama.

Zoidberg is the popular one now!

the simpsons have become preachy in a really bad way... look at the simpsons movie, wtf is with bart, he wouldnt have cared from earlier seasons, and margie and homers self discovery all terrible.

futurama is at least consistantly funny, and a bit closer to original than most series. too bad fox cant find a good show with both hands.
