PS4 is "stronger" and higher priced. Most people don't even notice the visual disparity (usually resolution) so that power isn't worth much to many consumers.
Better OS is a strange argument. Lets just say that's subjective.
Many features on X1 and PS4 require the internet. BC just happens to be one on X1. Bottom line, many people have 360 games and being able to use them on X1 adds significant value. For many, Playstation's past BC added great value as well.

Just wanted to point out the obvious, here: it's higher priced because XBOne sales were initially shit and PS4 mopped the floor with it (in all regions), so MS got desperate and slashed the price a multitude of times (getting as low as $329) in just one year.
Let's not act like it's "stronger....but higher priced" with an even playing field. It's only higher priced because it sold (and continues to sell) at an initially lower price than its immediate competition, so, said competition slashed their price. "Stonger and higher priced" is an argument to be made for the PS3 against the 360. Not PS4 vs XBOne. It's not fair to think the consoles strength correlates to the price when it was the cheaper console, but got undercut. And its not like "well, if MS cut their price, then they should cut the PS4s price" because that's not how business works. PS4 continues to sell extremely well, therefore it hasn't reached market saturation at $400, so it will keep selling at $400.
360 did drop price just because PS3 came in with a 40GB model. Hell, a Whopper used to cost more than a Big Mac (BK is more expensive than McDs , in general) but the Big Mac kept selling better and bringing customers to McDs than the Whopper did for BK, so the Whopper is now cheaper. Can't say "the Big Mac costs more because it tastes better" when the Whopper originally cost more. The same product is, now, cheaper because less people like it. Not because the taste (i.e. power, in this analogy) changed

For the record... I mentioned the X1 is cheaper because somebody said PS4 was a better value. If we are gonna argue value you have to take into consideration one box is cheaper.
When PS3 was $250 with a HDD and games versus 360 with HDD $299, the PS3 was arguably the better value. PS3 fans boasted about the cheaper superior hardware while Sony bled riches.
Hence, what youre talking just wasnt in the context of our discussion.
