Amazon doesnt have a tombraider bundle in the top100...

havnt seen a Xbox One tombraider bundle on amazon as I can recall it atm.

The game itself is around 80th-90th in the top100.

Im predicting a flop of a launch on this one....

with 9days or less to launch and just barely being in the top100 on amazon, sales arnt going to be anything amazing.

Big differences. Sunset Overdrive is a new IP and Bayonetta 2 is on the wrong console. We are talking about one of the most recongised franchises in gamings history. Gamers know Tomb Raider and the last Tomb Raider was up there with the best Uncharted games of the generation. This sequal will speak for itself. If TR was a new IP competing agasint SW Battle Front, Fallout 4, Halo 5 etc then i will easily agree, however TR isnt a new IP, its been around longer then most of those games and why would FPS games even compare to a 3rd person action adventure title? Completely difference gaming audiences. Sci-fi and FPS fans will buy SW-BF, FO4 and Halo 5 while those who love Uncharted like gameplay will buy TR. Its almost like gamers think FM6 wont sell because Gears of War is releasing close to it.

Completely different audience.


The game will surely sell, but as for big franchises on the X1, Tomb Raider is the smallest one from the line up around it and it's comparisons to Uncharted are a poor man's Uncharted. The media may say different, but the paying customer says otherwise. 

 

Looking at TR 2013 sales to get some idea:

 

PS3:

Sold 2.83mil 

Reached 1mil in 4 weeks 

 

X360:

Sold 1.83mil 

Reached 1mil in 10 weeks 

 

PS4:

Sold 0.97mil 

Took a year to get 800k

 

X1:

Sold 370k

Took a year to get 300k 

 

This time it doesn't have its main fan base backing it, and it is up against:

 

FO4

COD 

SW-BF 

 

I reckon unless MS bundle it heavy, this game will not reach a million sales until end of December.

While I didn't enjoy the last two Fallout games, the hype is real, and it's going to murder TR.
