On one hand it will be big, on the other hand, I seriously have to wonder when Microsoft will start putting forward some good, new first party content. Their biggest titles so far seem to either be multiplats or their Halo Collection. Where is the original content like Sony is bringing to the table with new sequels and brand new IP in general?

What came out so far this gen for the ps4 that is original? Bloodborne? A soul spirtual successor?

The Order, Knack, Driveclub, Until Dawn. Poorly executed for different reasons maybe (except Until Dawn since it's still a few weeks away), but original new IP nonetheless, so you can't say they haven't been trying.

I'm not much of an Xbox guy but I am tempted to get an X1 someday just because of this

Me too. You can get Rare Replay and MCC right now for just £40 combined. Insane amount of content for that price, and makes an X1 very tempting.

Ori, Scale bound, quantum break, sea of thieves, recore?

Yes, it will sell 10 million lifetime. 3 million first week. Bye Halo 5.

Can we consider a compilation of older games of previous gens from multiple consoles as an exclusive?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

Maybe if someone tells the mainstream that it exists.

In this case? I would say yes.   I don't know what the sales will be at the end but I remember that the perfect Dark N64 port on xbox 360 sold more than 500k so people really like those rare games.  i hope it just sells well.

I doubt that it can beat Masterchief Collection.

Won't be the biggest but I imagine it will have some good legs to it with the price at £16 and will probably be at £10 for along time and make it so its not worth picking up pre-owned as the price is basically the same, Also with the amount of time it would take to complete every game on it a lot will keep the game on the shelf allowing less used copies in circulation.
