Every comic and shounen hero whose run last more than a few episodes/chapters does. You can't have dozens or hundreds of victories over your enemies just by merely hitting a little harder each time. That would be boring.

Goku playing fair and square is the point of this post. He will be the moral winner by not exploiting Supermans glaring weaknesses, even if he loses the battle.

The other thing is that Goku has no problem with killing enemies, while Superman does. Goku will always come out alive in the fight, while Superman may not. 

i have to agree with your logic. 

but winning the moral ground is piss poor consolation to loosing.

goku in normal form is a planet buster. in ssj form he multiplies that power by 50, in ssj2 he again multiplies his power by... hahaha no idea lol

goku does have the power to knock superman for a loop.

you do know that superman also pulls craptastic powers out of his arse too.

"superman is suseptible to magic" -> tanks magic attack that should kill him

"kryptonite is deadly to superman" -> endures kryptonite radiation and still kicks ass

"x enemy is a superbe figher and will beat superman due to skill" -> trained by batman = next best thing + hundreds of years of war inplace of dc thor coz...well... yeah .. give supes some legit experience 

the list goes on and on and on... 

these two are meant to fight as both pull crap out of their arseholes.
