Forums - Sales - June 2015 NPD Thread! PS4, WiiU, XBO, 3DS up

Looking at that MS response, I reckon the gap is going to be at least 80k

I can see a similar March gap ( over 100k ).

That's unexpected response is interesting....

This is even with the new 1TB bundle which should of gave the Xbox One a boost. The were also giving away Batman free with Xbox One seperately at multiple locations to boost sales. Amazon included.

^^ I would guess somewhere between 10%-20% increases for Sony and MS, and Wii U to be down a similar amount.

112k-126k for Wii U is what you think then? (WU was at 140k last year)

It may be an optimistic guess, but Splatoon has had decent legs elsewhere, so I'm hoping it is the same in the US and it has been reflected in a small hardware boost.

What was Wii U last month? I thought it was quite a bit lower than 100k?  Was there anything to cause a sales spike on Wii U in the US in June? Or do we think Splatoon would have driven more new hardware sales after it's initial release?

Not even close :P Wii U was at 43k last month. For comparation, last year Wii U was 61k in May and is jump 140k in June. (+130% boost)

Haha, wonder if Splatoon will cause a similar "legs spike" to Mario Kart 8 then. Will be interesting to see.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

More than 80K units but less than 200K.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I nearly put 100k but I'm playing it safe. I mean, no mention of hours played or xbox accumulative sales, just E3 nominations. Unless they release some other response I think it's going to be a terrible month for MS.
