It starts off fine and builds up fairly ok, but once the dinosaur tricks the people to escape if went downhill fast.
Just became a cheesy monster movie like the ones on the Sci Fi channel... just with a bigger budget.
But yes, its a bad movie.

Everyone is a critic lol
I'll never understand how movie critics expect Citizen Kane level films from every film that comes out. A lot of actual fans enjoyed the movie. It was good, and deserved.

I'll reply to the rest later, I have to go to work sadly.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

had the complete opposite feeling.
The beginning was just so damn slow. completely forgettable.
I've said it before and I'll say it now... Jurassic Park should have been one and done. The entire idea of there even BEING a sequel is silly.

I would reply, but I think we'd just get into a circular debate in which we dissect these elements down to a point where the movie never bothered to reach.
I admit from the get go that all I've said is me filling in gaps from the film...but they can be filled and argued against and argued for. Which is enough, in my opinion.
I think anyone that wants to enjoy this film needs to come into the cinema with proper...and realistic expectations, that stem from the source material, the general current cinematic ecosystem and tendencies and the trailers. It's a film with an island filled with dinosaurs, run as a tourist attaction...that's a cartoon worthy concept right there.

Actually, it does. There's a reason why people don't like plot holes. I am thoroughly surprised that there are people who liked it. It was outright dumb. And so predictable too. It is the worst movie I have seen in the cinema in the past few years. |
You must not really go to the cinema much.
2012?
World War Z?
Resident Evil: Retribution?
Friday the 13th?
Lucy?
The Wolverine?
Robocop?
47 Ronin?
The Lone Ranger?

Besides the climax of the movie, the whole movie felt pretty mediocre, overall.
It's far from the worst movie though, IMO.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

First, I haven't seen all of these at the cinema because I knew they would be bad. I only watched Robocop which was still better than this because it wasn't as dumb.
