I love DK, but I want Retro to use their talent for something else. New Metroid, new IP? Please.

On an different topic, that fake leaked Nintendo Direct list awhile back about "Angel Blood" was pretty interesting. It would be cool if they did something along those lines.

I dont understand. Who in the world is asking for Diddy kong racing 2? Its the same game as Mario Karto 8. It already exists!

Retro Studios has a lot of talent. We haven't seen a Metroid game since 2010 (Other M, which people don't even consider a Metroid game... weird huh.. lol) So it's kind of obvious why people want it to be a new Metroid. 

I would love if it was a new Metroid, however, I would love to see them develop a new IP as well.

Considering Tanabe outright said he wants to do Prime 4 and they haven't done anything Metroid in 8 years, it seems like they SHOULD be doing Metroid. Moreover, if they're going to use resources, they shouldn't do it on a sequel to a B-game Kart racer when they can't even legally use most of the original reps. I don't mind them doing anything else besides Metroid, I'd just refer they do something that's NOT DKR2. Literally anything else would be a better use of resources.

Superior controls? Controls are the same as the other iterations. Better track design? Wider tracks are better? No. More tracks? Quality>>>Quantity. And the rest is a no factor.

No it isn't, no the weren't, and quality + quantity. And the rest are absolutely factors.

Yes, it is. The superior motion controls are from MKWii, not MK8. Tracks are wider and boring, yes. And it has the same tracks as MKWii or MK7. The other ones are paid DLC. And the rest doesn't matter.
