It's not going to be an instant reversal, but the PS4 version of Blops 3 will most likely sell more. This will especially be true if Sony does a PS4 Blops 3 bundle. The strategy did very well for the XBO last holiday season, so I see no reason for Sony to not do it, too.

Oh look an Xbox One vs PS4 poll....I wonder which will get more votes? I'm holding my breath in anticipation!

This may have been more interesting if MS landed the partnership again, but despite what many think, this is a massive deal for Sony this year. Black Ops 2 is the most revered game in the series and still the most played COD game. Also, with Activision's initial "bait & switch" unveil, in which they were coy about the existence of a last gen version, they seem to be priming everyone for a full next gen switch for 2016. Any really hardcore COD fans that have held up on converting may very well step up to PS4 now.

PlayStation 4 for me. The way Activision hammers down in marketing is absolutely crazy. Since Black Ops III does have 3 years of development time, this should also convince some naysayers to buy it due to the fact that the quality of the game is better thia time around.


COD AW also had 3 years, it was a jetpack shooter...
