Surely you meant Fallout 4 xD

I think Phantom Pain is going to win it. Time will tell, there may be a few suprise game annoucments for this holiday as well. Gamescom and TGS might have a suprise or two.

I just want to point out that in 2011 Batman Arkham City was actually ranked higher than Elder Scrolls V. Arkham city was rated 0.84% higher by Game Rankings which is a site I much prefer. Metacritic is more flashy but Game Rankings seems to often be better at gathering more reviews, but for some  games Metracritic is better at doing so. That being said on Metracritic Arkham City still has a 0.2% higher user rating which regardless, would top it higher than Skyrim.

For the tiebreaker, I used the game that had more reviews.

That is understandable I suppose. I was kind of thinking about that while I wrote this, though I was still pointing out which one was ranked higher. Through so called "Professional" reviews, Game Rankings had Arkham City ranked higher. It may have collected more or less reviews, or is just more accurate on its percentage.

So Uncharted 2 is the only exclusive that has won both, the highest rating in a year and the GOTY awards.

What game of the year awards are being referred to.

SSBU is really the highest game for 2014?

If you discount remasters/ports (TLOU and GTA) plus five or six iOS games... yes.

SSBU is the 9th toped rated game in 2014.

While I love Super Mario Galaxy I think BioShock deserved to be the top rated game in 2007... it was close btw.

Super Mario Galaxy was awesome, but it marked the era of Mario games becoming more simplistic. Mario 64 was accessible but required a lot of skill to get all of the stars. Super Mario Sunshine even more so to a greater extent.

Minus the Luigi coin level with the ground that disappears and a few others like the  timed lava level.... most of them were so easy and achieved on the first attempt.

Because Bioshock very hard...

And for completionist, Mario Galaxy wasn´t easy at all, only if you want to complete the levels and nothing more, but Galaxy 2 fixed that. And btw, Mario Galaxy is the more complexed Mario game ever created on the level design.

Your subjective opinion.

Do you really have to respond to everyone saying this?

Of course it's his opinion, he's the one that said it. That's how opinions work. And saying subjective opinion is just redundant.

So nice of you to remember all my post lol

Glad remasters aren't counted. Would be stupid to have the same game counted in multiple years.
