2011 - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (96)

I just want to point out that in 2011 Batman Arkham City was actually ranked higher than Elder Scrolls V. Arkham city was rated 0.84% higher by Game Rankings which is a site I much prefer. Metacritic is more flashy but Game Rankings seems to often be better at gathering more reviews, but for some  games Metracritic is better at doing so. That being said on Metracritic Arkham City still has a 0.2% higher user rating which regardless, would top it higher than Skyrim.

98 for GTA IV is about 20 points too high.

I still cant believe why so many people think Tony skater is so good, its really not :/

I'll stick up for THPS.

When the game released in 2000, the game was awesome. Not a Skateboarding fan but it was really fun to play. Graphics were decent and the gameplay was tight and responsive. Levels were filled with fun missions and plenty to do and unlock. The game had very little negatives and back then not much could match it.

Shame they ran the series into the ground after THPS3.

Agree with this list except for GTAIV and Walking Dead. Those two were kind of overrated.

Tony Hawk was a big deal back then. If you weren't there then you won't understand. "Xtreme" sports were trendy, and there wasn't much else quite like it, 1080 being the only other one worth mentioning. Different times, different standards.

About 2014? Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Very fun game on a very disappointing year.

2006 - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (96)

It's not even the best Zelda game with a wolf mechanic to come out that year.

Firstly I noticed we have no handheld exclusive games, Im not surprised in the slightest but it shows the west's biased towards home consoles.

Secondly I was going to laugh at Zelda being shit since 2007 but that not very fair, they've only managed to release 1 new home console Zelda since then and it was Skyward Sword

Thirdly, 14 games are exclusives. Well at least when they originally released they were, games like HL2 or RE4 obviously are no longer exclusive.
