you cant control your choice to buy the games used or physical. So thats very restricting. PC has no AAA exclusives i could recall. |
Star Citizen is pretty big. Plus it also has stuff like Pillars of Eternity and lots of RTS games. Plus Mobas and games like Dota 2. I never needed a older OS to run games on my PC. Stuff like Dos box runs older games with no issue.

It helps that at least GoG seems to tweak older releases before putting them up for sale to maximize the amount of modern hardware they will run on without extra tweaking or extra software. It would be nice if Steam did the same since, although I haven't run into it, I hear some of the older games they sell just don't work on newer hardware. Of course, since the addition of the refund system, it's at least less insulting to run into that issue with a fresh Steam purchase.

Thanks for the replies :D
I'm enjoying Demon's Souls, just need to get used to the button config. Fallout Vegas is a blast and getting back into Deus Ex.
I have no urge to play The Witcher.
I've tried every genre pretty much, always giving games a chance. To me it's strange that games I really didn't like a few years ago after trying them out, I suddenly like. I'm going to put this down to genre fatigue and needing to find something to replace the genres I'm getting tired of. Also loving indie games but always have. Just platd Ether One and would play another game like it. Everybodys Gone to the Rapture is high up on my list and it based on Shropshire where I live :)
I can't even get hyped for MGS5, a series that I hold dear to me. Same with Uncharted. I even dumped soccer games recently in favour of MLB.

Truly the words of someone who has no clue about PC gaming... the internet is a great tool to inform & try to educate yourself instead of using it to ridiculize yourself... a hint PC has more games than PS4 & X1 together & has a lot more exclusives... you're welcome ;)

You are quite right sir, "one does not simply switch to Nintendo", it's more like an awakening & seeing the videogaming world & the world in general with your own eyes & having your free(d) will scrutinize reality for the 1st time!

You might've had a point if I'd have said that to begin with, but I didn't.

You were implying that a single reasonably good franchise is better than what a whole gaming company & Nintendo of them all, does or has done... that's quite bold i give you that but in the end it's also quite erronous, so I teased you a little, no hard feelings I hope ;)

Yes, I change often. Sometimes you really need to try a game a time or two before you find out if you like it or not. Sometimes it's just timing and focus.
Years, and years ago, I really though Sim City would be the most boring game to play. Then after a few times of my room mate kicking me off it so he could go to bed, I realized it's fun.
That's why it's GAMING and not living. You can try all sort of stuff in Gaming live that you could not in real life.

Nah man, I think I was pretty clear, the epitome of all gaming franchises far surpasses anything any game company besides Insomniac could ever achieve, including Nintendo... Duh.
