I think this is happening to me too, and its one of the reasons Im getting more into indie games. Less money and less time involved, so if I'm not into it or I lose interest I haven't lost much time/money.

Im honestly looking more forward to Volume instead of MGSV for my stealth needs this year.

yup same here. I don't even want either of the twins anymore. Wii U and PC has been the cure for me. Now I love gaming again.

PC has the same games like xbox and ps4 and even less.

Switch that number to 2013 and that's me.

One does not simply switch from R&C to Nintendo.

I guess the only time my tastes really changed is when I was into games like Call of Duty back around 2008, and then started trying out classic Nintendo consoles.

That's when my tastes changed to more classic games.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I used to like RPG's but now I find them boring.

and even less? There are PC exclusives. Not to mention I get to control all aspects of my gaming experience without paywalls and the freedom of mods and BC dating back for years and years. PC has been far more refreshing a experience than Sony and MS offerings this generation.

My video game tastes have been in a state of flux for over a year now. I just don't know what sounds fun. Occasionally I'll start a game and just have the urge to beat it. When I started Saints Row 4 a few months ago, I played the crap out of it until I nearly 100%'d it. When Majora's Mask 3DS came out, despite my objections to Nintendo in recent years, I bought it day one and beat it in about two days 100%. I bought Diablo 3 on a whim on my PS4 and beat that within a few days cooping it with my roommate. Cooping with my roommate is also how I got through Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, while losing the urge to coop is exactly why I have yet to get much further in Borderlands 2 than I got back on my Vita.

Now though, I keep buying games and just not having any urge to play them. This most recently happened with The Witcher 3, which I seriously regret picking up day one and should really sell off before much longer. Steam sales are the worst example because I buy games I figure I should like, install them, maybe play three or four hours, then I get shut off the game and just don't come back to it. I recently started Hyperdimension Neptunia: Re;Birth 1 on my Vita (after buying it a few months ago), and I found the game lots of fun for the three hours I played......and haven't gone back to it since the night I started it.

I just really hope my gaming tastes restabilize eventually. It sucks being a gamer that can't seem to genuinely enjoy any games enough that the feeling of excitement to go back to them is there. It would be nice to actually be eager to play a game again sometime soon.

I was forced to like other games when Sega died. Didn't play games for 2 years actually. Now I'm more of a casual gamer. I like to multitask while I game, which is why the Xbone is where I play most of the time. When I get bored I switch to TV, twitch or Netflix, then go back to the game or do both. I usually game for only 10 minute bursts. Then back to watching something.

I still buy lots of games, but mostly to scalp later. Buy lots of cheap digital games for future play if I ever run out of things to watch or can't get sex anymore. Gaming to me has fallen on my priority list, would rather talk about them than play them.

BC is very bad on PC, you need an older OS to run older games and even then its 100% not gurrateet to run. Who says you have to sell or get rid of your old console in the first place? I much rather keep or buy the old hardware but therefor it runs perfect.

you cant control your choice to buy the games used or physical. So thats very restricting.

PC has no AAA exclusives i could recall.
