Do you think the announcements for FFVII Remake and Shenmue III could have an immidiate effect on PS4 sales post-e3?
Like some sales going up from the base sales for a week or weeks for the rest of June?
It feels to me that the most reasonable thing to do is to wait a little longer if you are interested in those games and that there shouldn't be any spike in sales for simple announcements, but then time after time people here bring forth the argument that sometimes "hype" translates into sells, so I ask for your opinion:
1) Do you think it is possible for sales to go up for PS4 as a result of these announcements?
2) Do you think that these games have such loyal fans that could simply go buy a PS4 right away because these games are confirmed for the console? Or do you think they will wait?
3) Are there any fans of these titles in VGChartz who are planning on buying a PS4 even before there is an official release date for any of them? Are you reader one of them?
4) Are there any precedents of console sales being affected by popular announcements?
5) How much, if you think they can, could sells for PS4 be affected by these announcements?
6) Do you think VGChartz will update the charts with post-e3 data for discussion before The Last Guardian releases?
What do you think?
Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
