As some of you may know, I purchased the Wii U less than two weeks agao. Being less than 3 years into it's lifespan, I thought that I would be safe in regards to future releases and announcements. Well...Now I'm scared. I don't necessarily regret getting the Wii U, but I am definitely disappointed with what has happened the past few days. Nintendo, please announce more games for the Wii U (that aren't cross-generation with the NX) and I will be satisfied with my purchase!

Well, by the time you bought it, they'd already announced the NX. The writing was on the wall.

I'm sorry for you but I believe it was expected judging the Wii U's sales. Look at the bright side, it still have a few exclusives to buy after 3 years on the market and depending on your taste, there are a few B and C nintendo games to look forward as well.

I bought the Wii U when Windwaker HD released.. I never owned a Wii, so I found value in the backwards compatibility.

I bought a Dreamcast one week before Sega announced they were going to kill the console (though they did say they would support it for one year after the announcement) and dropped the price $100. Quit your bitchin', man up, and play some Splatoon. You're a kid, now. You're a squid, now. You're a kid.  You're a squid.  You're a kid.  You're a squid.   NOW!

We all know that the Wii U will probably be Nintendo 's main console for at most the next 2-3 years, and at the least just 1. Just enjoy all the amazing games that have come out (too many to list) and all the big ones that will come out (Mario Maker, Yoshi, Xenoblade, Star Fox, Zelda, etc.)

You learned something. Dont get nintendo sytems if you want more then 3-4 years support.

If you just bought a Wii U then you should have a backlog to get through before worrying about this.

where do you see cross gen games ? please stop the nonsense.
