I don't plan on getting an X1 until next year when Gears 4 drops. Hopefulkly by then the b/c list should have Tales of Vesperia and LO. Those are the main 360 games I want to go back and play but can't since my 360 broke.

No Blue Dragon? WTF?

haha Well I do have Blue Dragon but I just don't like it as much as the other two. Same goes with Infinite Undiscovery but hmm Magna Carta 2 was pretty good and I never did get a chance to finish that one. I don't know if the chances are high or not for those games being added to the bc list though.

Ppl didnt like it. I did. I have a ton of 360 games but don't ever feel like hooking my xbox back up without using snap 😂. I know a few ppl were/are downplaying it but it's a big deal for me

Then why do we have to download it? Why can't we just run it off the disc? Why is the file size different than the original? Also why doesn't DLC work right now? If it was full emulation I wouldn't have these questions.... |
Maybe downloading it is what allows 360 games to use XB1 features like game DVR, Snap, and that "turn the console on and resume exactly where you left off" feature.
Keep in mind that, not only is the XB1 running the Xbox 360 games, it's running them better than the 360 (better frame rate, faster loading, additional features), too! I guess the game needs to be on the HDD for this to work.
Also, it's still in preview more. The 360 market isn't available on the xb1 to download dlc. If M$ has done this much, surely they will include dlc in the future, too! That's the moneymaker!!

I just wanted to say it's not running the games better. At least not the ones I have tested.
It looks like the binaries have been changed. This is why they need lisencing permission, because they are altering the code.

Play Mass Effect.

I did. Screen teering that didn't exists, DLC not working, etc.
Resolution is the same, load times are faster (better hard drive). That's about it.

Add me on Xbox Live. I'd like to play with you! I'm d21lewis

Before, whenever you went to an area, it would begin with all of the textures loading in one layer at a time. On XB1, it all loads almost instantly. Plus on 360, there was almost constant screen tearing. I didn't notice any on the XB1. Frame rate is much better now, too. There's a little stutter when it saves, though. DLC doesn't work but, as I mentioned before, it's still just a demo of what the future will hold. There's no Xbox Live Marketplace to download DLC from, yet.

There are already videos with comparisons, especially for Mass Effect, which show improvements and show nothing what Protendo pretends to have experienced.
Also keep in mind that there is no single game on next-gen consoles that run via disc, they all are installed. To the Xbone, the emulator is an Xbone game so there is no running off discs, but all the features like screenshots, twitch streaming and so on. Also when downloading the whole package with patches you have a single binary that you have to emulate and not "oh, disc has no patch level, now I have to download it to wherever I am not able to because it's still different than on 360 (you can't access storage from within the emulator). You have one final-patched version of a game and this is going to be emulated.
And especially I don't know how people already moan about something that didn't even release yet officially and is only available to preview members.
