I doubt they'd top Sony, but topping Microsoft is very possible considering what they've already done earlier.

I doubt we'll get more than half a new dozen announcements from Nintendo this E3.

Well, they won last year, so sure.  It would take a Metroid+Another big thing for me, if Zelda really won't happen, then it is trouble.

Honestly, i expect them to top MS, easily if you factor NWC and Treehouse event in, but even press conf alone.

You need to bring back a game from 1997 and one in development hell to "win" this kind of events, yes.

Sony's presentation was excellent from the marketing perspective. It was amazing every time they just dropped every bomb, but from the content itself, I didn't like it very much, aside from the announcements of Horizon and the fact that Uncharted 4 looks so good.

Star fox in going to be on tomorrow's event, therefore Nintendo wins for me.

Who knows what Nintendo might be preparing for the Digital Event, so it's hard to tell! They could announce anything .

Nintendo's not really competing with Sony, they don't have an interest in doing that. They do their own thing, you either like that or you don't and they do it on their own terms.

They only really go at Sony if Sony threatens them on the dedicated portable front. 

It's not like they're sitting in Kyoto right now quickly filming new content for tomorrow because they got scared of Shenmue III announcement or some such.

Well, for me they can beat Sony only if they show Zelda but that's not happening...
