Capcom financials being strained is a good reason to think there might be a Nintendo/Capcom partnership for a Ryu game, actually.

And I'd imagine that Nintendo would probably be happy to pay money to help get the licensing done, along the way. But then, I don't actually expect TvC 2.

I was almost confused by your first statement, then I read it again and I get it now. However, you have to consider if Capcom would evem delegate the resources to an "unproven" game for Nintendo. Sticking with Ace Attorney, Monster Hunter, etc would be the bread and butter they are use to. I certainly would hope to see Nintendo and Capcom make a game exclusively for Nintendo. I'd be all over it. Even if they made another Zak & Wiki, I would be happy!

Nintendo is losing. Capcom will not waste their time. They got Tatsunoku last gen because they were winning.

Since it's unlikely that they'd have many Nintendo franchises but only Street Fighter from Capcom's side, I said "[Nintendo franchise]" because you really kind of need to specify a franchise. Mario? Zelda? Punch Out? Animal Crossing? Fire Emblem? If it had to be one, what would you pick?

Now that I think about it, they could use F-Zero, and expand the F-Zero franchise to include both Fighting and Racing games (kind of makes sense, given the universe it's set in) - F-Zero characters would fit in really well with Street Fighter characters.

Ryu isn't in Power Stone. Note that the poll question isn't identical to the thread topic. This is also why there's no Final Fight listed, for instance. Those options all fall under "other".

On a side note, I've noticed nobody has voted for the "Street Fighter U (exclusive, not-a-fighter)" option. Some may be confused by what I mean, there. I mean any title that is a "Street Fighter" title, but not a regular SF fighting game. For instance, a Street Fighter Musou, or a beat-em-up (think Double Dragon), or something like those Mortal Kombat titles that are more adventures than fighting games, but still with a lot of classic fighting in them.
