Silent Hills or the Pokemon N64 RPG

Metroid Dread, for sure. That name is JUST SO COOL.

I wish we got the look of the Zelda Tech Demo from 2011 instead of the Zelda Wii U that we will have, if I'm being honest

My boys (6 and 8), both huge Zelda fans, keep asking me (and I have to disappoint them repeatedly) when will 'they' make 'big spider Link game'...they like what they saw from Zelda U footage, but 2011 tech demo left way bigger impression.

Alan Wake 2.

I still have hope, though.

Starcraft: Ghost
Silent Hills
The Last Guardian - it's not cancelled
Half-Life 3 - not even a thing. You can't scrap something that's not even been announced.

(ノ*゚ー゚)ノ

But anyway..

For me its got to be Timeplitters 4. Some of the best local multiplayer games I've had was with TS series.

Its a huge shame we're not likely to ever see a new TS iteration (curse you Crytek).

Tacitly cancelled and cancelled while in internal development. You know it's true.

Either way, thanks for imparting me with your amazing knowledge. The concept of 'cancelled' often slips through my fingers.

Blizzard's Lord of the Clans game. It was a Warcraft point-and-click adventure game that told the story of Thrall growing up and freeing his fellow orcs from internment camps and, essentially, linking Warcraft II and III. They later covered that story in a fairly good book, also named Lord of the Clans.

Some of my earliest gaming memories were point and click adventure games, so I've always loved them. Likewise, I've been a huge Warcraft fan ever since I played the first game at a friend's long ago, so the idea of a Warcraft P&C really appeals to me. What's sad is I saw YouTube footage of a guy who somehow got his hands on the unreleased game and it was clearly both almost complete and looked darn fun. Still bummed about that.

Oh, Starcraft Ghost as well. Blizzard breaks my heart sometimes.

Star Fox 2. Mario 64 2.

Ah, I remember when that one was both announced and cancelled - I was huge W1/2 fan, and since P&C adventures were (and still are) my favorite genre, I was really looking forward to it. They should really just finish it now as a fan service, that would be peanuts for them, and release it as retro adventure.
