From a book it says 1200

I'm a Sega nut myself but you gotta admit that most of those games never saw release outside of Japan where as the Wii-U's sales are global. Wii-U is to Nintendo what Dreamcast was to Sega... sans the short lifespan.[/b[ It's going to be one of those consoles hipsters buy in 10 years, claiming it was one of the best consoles of all time.

I used to agree with this. Now I think that the Wii U has a lot more in commion with the Sega Saturn.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Most online sources I've found place it's total US library at around 250 games, and PAL about the same.

For the global total to be 1200 that would mean close to 80% of its games never released outside Japan. I don't think that's likely.
