Sad news as women I lift with fell down a flight of stairs last night and hit her head killing her. She was in amazing shape, a model person for fitness and dietary habits, and just a great positive personality. Just in shock, we tend to think when we're young and healthy these sort of things don't happen.

I was catching up on this thread and this post caught my attention. That's so sad, it goes to show that life is fragile and that we should never wait to enjoy it to the fullest.

Alright I have updated the goals OP using posts from the last 3 pages; go take a gander if you so please

I've seen this page so many times and I was kinda doubtful to write in it.

Since November from last year, I've been focusing on doing my own diet and exercise regime to try to lose 25 pounds to reach 150lbs. Obviously, I've reduced food portions, cut soda and sugary foods and do some exercise. I've been doing some HIIT exercises for 3-4 times a week, specifically, doing 5 sets of 20 seconds of high knees, 20 seconds of squats and 20 seconds of burpees. Problem is, I don't know if I'm doing well or not, but it kinda works.

I decided to gain weight last year and I'm close to 190 but feel kind of plump now. Time to start losing weight again maybe get back down to 175 or so.

If you are exercising and eating well, I can guarantee that you are doing well for yourself. How is progress?

Okay, I totally failed in my goals.

But, I have as a goal now to run twice a week. I will start on Monday night and post my results on Strava.

@Nymeria. That is so sad. We are all precious and life is fragile.

Nail this goal then!

Have a picture of her in the gym, helps keep things in perspective when one wants to complain about things.

Nothing "new" from me, just working on form and repetition going throw lift cycles to push weight limits on snatches, squats, jerks, and presses.

Ok so I decided last pull day that I would do this guy's back workout with a bit of bicep work thrown in. Suffice to say it was intense haha

Really interesting story about this guy. Set a ~2550 lb total in powerlifting while weighing 220 lbs, and in 2015 he came out as transgender. So the video above shows him in 2013, and now he identifies as a woman o.O that came out of nowhere! This is him now

Could be better. While I was doing good early January, my brother keeps buying salty and sugary stuff that doesn't help, even if I tell him numerous times to buy fruits. And since college is robbing me of time, I skip lunch everyday.

I know it seems redundant to tell you this but skipping meals is not a good idea. I guess you could just keep pestering him to buy fruits :-p

Try preparing lunches the night before
