By the way, in Japan, Xbox 360 is getting creamed by PS3.

But at the end, I hope Wii wins because Nintendo didn't do so good with the previous two generations. It's about time they win another one.

I am just gonna say right now, why did you have to make this thread?... Anyways, weather or not Sony made a product that gamers will eventually prefer is up for debate, but I will say this. In the interests of Sony, the PS3 was an AWFUL idea. Reduced sales and severely inflated production costs. If Sony had made a system similar to the 360 they might have had just as high if not more people buying the system. They wouldn't lose 400 dollars per system and they wouldn't have lost so many must have exclusives. No matter which you prefered (360 graphics, or the Wii Gameplay) you would have wanted to get a PS3 also. Simply because it would have so many titles that you couldn't find anywhere else. Think of it this way. PS3 loses 400 per system now. manufacturing improvements made recently will take that cost down 100 dollars. In a years time they made it only put them in the hole 300 a system. And they might still have to make a price cut. so we could be back to 400-500 in the hole per system. Even when the system starts making money, they will have a long ways to go to make up the billions they lost at the start of the PS3. Look at the profits the Wii and DS are churning in. Do I need to link the DS image "it prints money"? Weather or not you believe that the PS3 offers a superior gaming experience you have to admit that in Sony's part, they messed up badly.

You don't like this thread because you assume I am bashing the Playstation 3. No worries, go see my new thread. I compliment the Playstation 3 in many areas.

Most people aren't bashing the system or technology, but the business strategy of Sony. The technology is only one piece of the puzzle.

Not in software which is what developers look for.

NGS, Heavenly sword, Lair 3 massive titles coming out for the PS3. MGS is coming out spring 2008. Not even a year until most of the exclusives come out.

3 wow very interesting Lost odeesy Blue Dragon and the 3rd game which mentioned not even together the would make up the sales compared to FF. Ohh by the way try to write 97 WPM and get most of it correct.

the xbox 360 and the ps3 are gonna be successful..the reason why is that microsoft is talking to developers to help them support there system and sony is trying to repair themselves to get back the support i believe the PS3 will gain ground in about 3 years...but the PS3 is a console made for a 10 year life span...so when microsoft and nintendo make there next console which will be in about 4 years or so...sony is already prepared for the next wave...because the hardware thats inside that console its already future proof..i think sony just tried to do something new and make a console so that they never have to to a 5 year cycle again....blu-ray is thrashing hd-dvd already so we can come to a conclusion that blu-ray is the standard next generation dvd format...and as the years progress people r gonna realize that i can get a blu-ray player in a ps3 for $300 or $400...and the ps3 has alot of support...where as nintendo and microsoft have to reset and start over again from ground up to get back its users...
