Very possible. With a few major releases delayed and a large surge of interest I've seen outside of the fanbase, I could definitely see it hitting 2mil/ Especially if it's advertised/shown off at E3. Persona just grows every installation of the series

I think it's very possible. This is the first time releasing on an actual current gen system. I'd say easily 700k first week, if not more.

I can see this happening.
Persona 4: Golden sold over 900k only as retail on PS Vita and will reach the 1M in 2-3 months.
Persona is now much more popular and will be on 2 consoles with huge install bases.

I was not entirely serious with that best game of the year comment, that is just my opinion, which is far from unbiased in this case. :D

The problem a lot of people in this thread have is believing the VGC software numbers to be accurate.

I agree, the Persona franchise is gaining ground and fast!

That is entirely true, it is your opinion! I mean, a game of the year is completely subjective to begin with. For example, the GOTY last year for me was Bayonetta 2, but for others it was Smash Bros, Dragon Age Inq, Call of Duty etc.

However, I am talking about which game will actually get the award and I have a feeling if it was Persona 5 or Xenoblade X, Xenoblade would recieve it.
