Rocket League still on track for a Mid-February release on the Xbox One.

Nice read Vs. Addiction sucks, I was addicted to WoW in high school and I was so glad when I was done. What made you continue to play Neverwinter? I played for a few days and lost interest. Glad to see you're back in the Xbox camp.

Man Advanced Warfare is really easy on Veteran, certainly the easiest CoD game in that regard. But I'm not complaining

^Speaking of widely regarded, I have a question for all you XBOX users.

Is it correct that it is widely regarded that Xbox ONE had the strongest launch and post-launch game library, while this year, 2016 is the year that PS4 is expected to take over?

Well of course game lineups are largely subjective, but I'd say that sounds about right. 2013, 2014 and 2015 had better XB1 lineups imo, but based on what is announced so far, 2016 and 2017 seem to lean in PS4's favor, largely because PS4 is getting lots of 3rd party exclusives while XB1 isn't.

That said, I don't really think these were the best ones the XONE had, given a lot of the games in 2015 devoured each other. If anything, I believe that if we do see H6 in this console, that might be the year were we redeem ourselves...

If 343 continue to support MCC and Halo 5 online for the rest of this gen then they would be better off releasing H6 for next gen they could even make an expansion for H5 like ODST.

Yeah, I personally think that 2016 MS 1st/2nd party is stronger than 2015 MS 1st/2nd party, but with no AA/AAA 3rd party exclusives announced so far this year for XB1, PS4 starts to pull ahead because it has several AA/AAA 3rd party exclusives this year on top of a pretty good 1st/2nd party lineup.

Assuming 343i stick with a 3 year dev schedule, Halo 5 will be 2018. We could see new MS/Sony hardware as early as 2018 (the average gen is about 5 years long and 2018 will be 5 years for PS4/XB1). So Halo 6 cross-gen maybe? Peronsally I think 343 should take their time with Halo 6 to ensure that all fan favorite features (including splitscreen and Forge) are ready at release and give it 4 years of development, release it Holiday 2019 on Microsoft's 9th gen hardware.

It ties into what I said. We had a good lineup that fought for sales. There's a good chance the PS4 lineup might commit suicide... if it happened to us, it can happen to them...

Yeah, Veteran was a piece of cake in Advanced Warfare.

yeah even though I had some troubles on the Bio Lab level.

Well I was halfway through the level when my gf came home from work and I didn't save and quit. I just deactivated the controller, since I knew I could go on playing after she ate something. Around 30-40 minutes later I noticed that my X1 was turned off and even though I have it on insta-on, AW was fully closed. So I started AW and realized that AW really isn't saving ANY progress when you don't hit save and exit. I was pissed and wasted 20 min or so mostly due to the slow stealth section at the beginning.

Anyway my only real trouble was the AST later in the level. Had to try this fight about 5 times, as it took me a while to realize that he cannot be damaged when he's in that scripted animation when he first appears, so I wasted some grenades. Another time he charged me, then I forgot to kill one regular soldier in one of the rooms behind me, then another rocket launcher guy spawned out of nowhere and hit me in the face.
As for the 5th time, I knew I had the advantage when I get up on a building, as the AST cannot jump or climb ladders in his mech suit. I triggered the scripted event, ran back and climbed on the little building with the antenna that you later have to jam.
I was carefully looking down the railings on all four sides but couldn't see him. Turns out I found a glitch. I noticed the AST still standing on the same spot as he's supposed to when the scripted event ends and none of my team mates were shooting at him. To be safe I stayed on the roof and emptied 2 full clips into his head with him not even moving an inch. There are a few more fights with 1 or even 2 ASTs at the same time coming up, so I'm kinda scared now

343 has teased that they have some big announcement about halo 5 in the coming months. Hopefully a good campaign expansion with firefight or with PVE only war zone. And yes I also hope they continue to support halo 5 in the coming years. Maybe wait till 2018 or 2019 to do halo 6.

Also a member of 343(I believe josh Holmes) has said that halo 5 has a better player retention rate than any halo game besides halo 3.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Alan Wake 2: Sam Lake Talks on Why it Hasn’t Happened Yet; Teases “Much Better Ideas” for the Sequel

It's got to be really hard to make a sequal that is going to be good.  So many 'Part 2s' are just cash grabs and they would really need to do something with the story.

Hope it's great!

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

WARZONE REQ COST CHANGES

The various teams here at 343 have been monitoring your feedback, as well as carefully studying a variety of match data, and after this evaluation have decided to lower the cost of a small set of weapons. The cost of these weapons was a little high, and we want players to be able to use them more often and without breaking the bank. Here’s a look at the new lowered weapon costs, which we’ve just released in the wild via a service side update.

CARBINE

  • Carbine: 4 -> 2
  • Rain of Oblivion: 4 -> 3
  • Blood of Suban: 5 -> 4

SUPPRESSOR

  • Suppressor: 2 -> 1

BOLT SHOT

  • Boltshot: 2 -> 1

LIGHT RIFLE

  • Light Rifle: 5 -> 4
  • Barbed Lance: 5 -> 4
  • Dying Star: 6 -> 5

SAW

  • Saw: 5 -> 4
  • Appetite for Destruction: 6 -> 5

Warzone is huge, and has many different aspects that make up the whole experience. By continuing to fine tuning certain aspects as time goes on based on telemetry and player feedback, we’re able to refine and polish the experience even further. Be sure to leave us your feedback in this dedicated forum thread, and stay tuned to @Halo for more updates!

We’ll see you in Warzone!

We were celebrating over at Waypoint! Especially since the Saw is my favorite weapon (I singledhandedly turned a game around through brute force thanks to The Answer) and also explains why my XONE was making noises while off...
