XGS in 2020 Update.

  1. Ori and the Will of the Wisps - March 11th.
  2. Bleeding Edge - March 24th.
  3. Minecraft Dungeons - April.
  4. Gears Tactics - April 28th.
  5. Wasteland 3 - May 19th.
  6. Grounded - Spring.
  7. Age of Empires 3: DE - Mid 2020.
  8. Tell Me Why - Summer.
  9. Halo Infinite - Holiday.
  10. Psychonauts 2 - 2020.
  11. Flight Simulator - 2020.

I'm more confident that Forza will be a launch title now based on the Series X trailer, I'm assuming Horizon, it would match the trailer setting too, and surely Battletoads is being pushed into 2020 now, perhaps February? Then we have the Wasteland remaster, we could be looking at 14 XGS titles for 2020.

What a fantastic 2020 lineup for MS. Probably the most diverse and largest lineup for any year. Throw in Hellblade 2 likely being a launch title and Forza, this is a killer year for Xbox.

A beast of a console, a solid and diverse lineup of games including new Halo, game pass.. looking good!

I'd prefer any other game than Hellblade though but it's not a big deal.

I'm still blown away that Hellblade 2 ended up being the first true next gen Xbox game to be announced. If you would have asked me hours ago what Scarlett (gotta get used to Series X now :P) game I thought would be announced tonight I would not have guessed that. I was already unsure it would ever get a sequel, but figured that if it did it we would still be years away from ever hearing about it. Looks dark as hell too, what a reveal.

To think we went from like no Scarlett dev kits being out there, devs being frustrated, and Phil dropping "bogus PR" about already having the finished product in his home, to a full reveal of the box in like a week and change…..

Crazy times

I think there has been a lot of "controlled" leaks and information dropping going on the past 2 weeks first with Sony getting one of their studios to post the 2 PS5 devkits and then Phil's tweet about his Scarlett been fully up and running at home with a few other bits in-between and also it wouldn't surprised me if the 12TF Anaconda leaks from a few days ago were planned leaks to get people talking before TGA reveal.

Safe to say no one expected Xbox Series X to be announced at The Game Awards. And especially didn't expect Hellblade 2 as the game to go with the announcement.

I think most people were expecting the Hellblade team to be the next new game announced from Xbox but  everyone was expecting a new IP and not a Hellblade sequel. I'd like to see more gameplay and a longer campaign to it as the first game had some pretty cool combat but not enough of it so hopefully Hellblade II expands and offers more on that front. Looks great graphically though since that was in engine footage.

Overall I like the design on the SeXboX it's going to fit in really well with my setup better than a standard style console does so I'm happy with that but I don't think the name is the most clear thing to market if they are going to use Series X, Series S or Series P or whatever they end up going with.

Just came back from university and wow what an announcement.
Next gen is gonna be great.

Gears Tactics trailer looked phenomenal but it looks like it will launch on PC first much like Flight SImulator?
We got a twitter confirmation about it coming to consoles as well, but there was no mentioning of Xbox in the trailer.

It should fit next to my TV if I keep it vertical. If I were to put it on a shelf in the TV stand I'd need to remove something. Right now I've got X1, PS4 Slim, Switch, X360, OG Xbox and Dreamcast

Should slot into where the X1 is since it will play all the games anyway :)

On the most part I don't think there should be a problem with people putting it into their TV stand or how the modern cabinets are there is usually plenty of room either side of the TV where you could stand it up next to it.

Yeah Gears Tactics launching on PC first still is a little confusing there really isn't any reason to not launch on console day one as well.

Right now the PS4 is on top of the X1, and the 360 is on top of the OG Xbox. Yes I know I that's not great for the consoles. I'll figure out what to do when I go home. I've been in the UK the last four months.

Just kick PS4 + X1 +360 + OG Xbox out, then you should have enough space for XSX + PS5.

PS5 gets the place of PS4+X1 and XSX gets the place of 360+OG.Xbox.

Or XSX gets the place of PS4+X1 and PS5 gets the place of 360+OG.Xbox.
