Yeah, seems like they are making a 2nd party deal with Sega/Relic now instead of outright buying them.

I also hope that Iron Galaxy is working on KI4 for next gen.

Them not buying Relic would be the best outcome, I would rather they make 2nd party deals like they have with Splash Damage and Creative Assembly.

I’ll admit that I’m biased but I would rather see MS but more console focused devs.

The days of MS being more console focus is gone.  With them trying to get all of their services on everything they can and also bringing all the Halos to the PC, we can definitely believe that everyone of their games will be PC/Xbox.  MS will probably have an app that steams to TVs and other devices or their stream only box will be cheap enough to be that system.  Either way we probably will see their direction this E3.

I'm willing to spend $100 or even $200 for a keyboard and connect it to my Xbox if we get a continuous supply of AoE, Civilization or Total War caliper games. The difference between PC and home consoles is extremely small these days.

Also, you can think of those so called "PC focused developers" as Xbox ticket to enter some European and Asian markets. It will help grow the platform and ensure you get more games from your favourite developers.
Growing from Xbox console to Xbox platform helped expand 343, Rare and every other studio Microsoft had. It helped acquiring more studios.

Once this German or Korean guy subs into GamePass to play AoE for $10 and he tries Halor or Gears for free and becomes a fan. Suddenly, the install base for these games doubles. Microsoft management see value in acquiring or expanding console focused developers. Phill can justify paying premium for Japanese content because of the bigger install base and people from those new markets like Japanese games more than the American or British people.

I’m talking about them buying devs that have focused on console games, Relic mainly focuses on PC and genres that are more friendly/popular on PC so MS buying them imo would not have moved the needle for me. I don’t really care that all of MS games will have PC ports.

Understand.  Is there really any western developer that only concentrate on Console only games.

I know i mentioned this a few weeks ago but MS still need to update the OS. Recently I keep having my OS lag and my Xbox keeps randomly turning off. When this happens i just dont bother to turn it on anymore.

I never had any problem recently. It is better and more stable than ever. It isn't optimum  but it is problem free for me.

Are you an insider?

I'm an insider but I haven't updated to any new builds. I just use the one that's accessible to everyone.

The thread has been slow lately. Even though it's far away, what do you expect for the next big reveal. The generation seems to be drawing to a close.

Completed the main quest in Assassin's Creed Origins. Played it 5 hours a day for a week.
Will do the misc stuff and the DLCs next. But I will definitely not complete all locations. That would take just waaay too much time.

So Xcloud is powered by Xbox One S's which has 1.4 teraflops and Stadia has 10.7 teralfops.
MS will need to react quick if they want to stay competitive in the streaming game.
