With all first party games coming to game pass and since all first party games are also getting pc releases I think ms has a good opportunity to pull pc players to game pass. While there isn't a ton of titles that are on gamepass and are also play anywhere titles that number will skyrocket in a year or 2. I also think ms will try to get a few pc games onto gamepass.

In the next year or so games coming to gamepass(and also playable for pc players)
Sea of thieves(huge streaming potential for pc)
State of decay 2(first was big for pc)
Crackdown 3
Age of empire DE
Age of empire 4(could be huge for pc)
Forza horizon 4
Halo
Ori 2(goty like game pc players will want to play)

By the time these are all out on gamepass/pc I believe the windows store could have darn good adoption even if only people using it for Gamepass. Gamepass could also help with getting first party to steam potentially. Could release all games to steam but people who want gamepass would need to go though the Microsoft store. Regardless if games release on steam or not I think gamepass will do nothing but help windows store.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

I'm going to subscribe but I see almost no point in buying anything that's also available on gamepass. Only way I might buy anything is if I quit subbing. In my case it will be a win for ms for 2018 though.

me subbing =120$

Me not subbing = 60$ in their is a halo

I'm interested in crackdown, sea of theives, state of decay2, and forza horizon 4 but I didn't plan on buying any of them besides forza way down the line.

I'll probably still buy Halo and maybe Fable but that's probably it.

I didn't realize that pubg hit 4 million by jan 12 I thought it was the day of press release. Went from 3 to 4 million players in 12 days. Crazy and unstoppable. 5 million by beginning of February?

Are they going to rotate the 1st party games? Id rather play Crack or SoD when I want not when they grant me permission.

I'm more interested now, may subscribe. I might subscribe it to play Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2, but the holy trinity Gears, Halo, Forza are games I will buy anyway. I know my brother will subscribe when Sea of Thieves launches and I think many others will too.

The new Game Pass announcement made me an Xbox One X owner today. Went to GameStop and picked up the X, and a Play and Charge kit. Re-upped my XBL Account for the first time since 2012 and started my free month of Game Pass.

Started playing Sunset Overdrive and Gears 4 today. Looking forward to the Master Chief Collections X update, then I plan to play through the whole series.

I think Microsoft is doing an awesome job with their platform. Game Pass just became a hugely valuable service, and continues Microsofts push to offer the most when you access software through them. Bring on a Surface Phone that has access to Game Pass, and I will be glad to jump on board.

With this purchase the collection is now complete. PS4 Pro, PSVR, Switch, and Now Xbox One X! Hope they all see support for many years to come.

KBG29 on PSN&XBL

Congrats KBG29! You'll have a great time playing those games. Gears 4 campaign on performance mode is sooo good.

Another topic, is anyone else hyped for Kingdom Come: Deliverence? I just watched some new gameplay clips and it looks amazing. Day one purchase for sure.

So just beat DmC.
It started off strong. Good cutscenes, Graphics are quite fine for last gen (obviously refined in the remaster), combat was fun too.
But the longer I played it the more issues I encountered.

What's up with the amount of weapons? Why does it introduce a new one every two levels?
Platforming sucks, really hard. Why is there so much of it? Either it's a combat section or (shitty) platforming. Should've rather added a puzzle here and there.

This leads me to controls and IMO the control scheme is just wrong.
Holding LT triggers angel mode and holding RT triggers demon mode. That's fine, but when I see blue circles, I naturally play X and when I see red ones I naturally press B.
So what happens is that when I do some platforming and there's a blue circle, I press LT+X (which is correct) and when there's a red circle I always press either RT+B which kills me OR I press LT+B, which also kills me. Same happens during boss fights.
The other thing that irritates me is that X is shoot, Y is attack and B is uppercut. I often press X because I think it's a light attack like most games in the genre have. Shooting should be B and uppercut either a different button or no button at all but a button combination.

Also the final boss was the easiest boss in the game. Disappointing.

Was an 8/10 at the start, but I have to lower it to 7/10.
