I was quite interested in this and still am actually but I'm not going to be grabbing it day one and I will likely purchase it later in the year when it is on offer mainly due to the size of my backlog it just doesn't make sense to keep buying new full priced games so I decided to hold off on most new stuff at the moment and only buy the absolute must haves :)

Yepp, skipped out on the OG XBO and XBOS, but I really like the X. I am a huge fan of the upgraded cosnoles, and would love to see Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo continue with these itterations, and only deliver new generations when we can see an undeniable leap in tech. I have been ready to put my money down on the X since day one, and with this revamp to Game Pass, I couldn't hold out any longer. 

As for the Games. I am already really pleased with Sunset Overdrive. Feels like Ratchet and Clank crossed with Infamous, two franchises I really enjoy. I have been a Gears fan since the beggining, so am excited to see what's new.

Why is it faded from you? I thought it has looked better and better every time I've seen new footage. 

I have my backlog under control now. I just picked up The Vanishing of Ethan Carter but it's a short game I think. Most of my backlog are games I want to play again and unlock achievements. I agree it makes no sense to buy a full priced game if you're not going to play it right away.

Yeah my backlog is probably the largest it's been in a long time maybe even the largest ever but it's mostly full of games I picked up in the sales over Christmas with the majority of them been £10 or less and likely they won't go any cheaper, I did purchase Forza 7 (and haven't played it yet) as the Ultimate edition was 50% of and tempted me enough to bite.

I hopefully will catch up my backlog as there is an added excitement to pre-ordering games and looking forward to them arriving day one that is missing from 1 year later bargain bin purchases even if the cost is a lot higher , hah.

Yeah buying games at launch is simply more fun and exciting indeed, I find it to be worth the extra cost. Mass Effect: Andromeda and Middle-Earth: Shadow of War are examples of games I wanted to play but didn't buy at launch, and now the excitement is gone.

I haven't kept track of the game for some time, mainly because I simply haven't heard anything about it as of late, but it looked fairly promising when last I saw it. Do we know when it's coming out?

It's coming out very soon in a little over 2 weeks infact, 13th February.

It's been on my radar for about half a year now, probably going to get it very soon after launch.

Looking at a recent bit of footage though, the game actually looks awful now, and pretty much nothing like I remembered. The graphics are horrible, the animations are awful, combat is clunky, and unresponsive......I mean....it's just not good frankly.
