EA is too huge, imo.
Valve wouldn't make sense from a software standpoint, since they barely even output games. They'd try to incorporate Steam into Xbox, which would be a shame.
PUBG Corp - not worth it, one trick pony like Mojang.

If MS were to buy EA I doubt they will keep most of their games exclusive. Probably still multiplatform buy will also launch on gamepass.
Valve is probably to grow their PC install base and introduce gamepass to PC gamers.
PUBG Corp would get the Minecraft treatment.
They're going to keep whatever they get if they get multiplat. Get EA games will still go on at least 3 platforms
Buying EA at the start of the Generation would have been huge, right now they have no value imo. They f*c*ked up the Star Wars IP and Mass Effect IP, Bioware is shakey and Dice isn't trusted anymore.
Valve would never sell and Bluehole is a 1 hit wonder.
If MS is seriously looking to make a big Billion Dollar purchase, the Capcom should be at the top of the list. Sega should considered also.
EA and Valve doesn't make any sense.
PUBG Corp. in my opinion as well. As probably others pointed the leak by ZhugeEX was about Microsoft trying to acquire Bluehole who declined the offer but now it seems that they try to acquire only PUBG Corp. - a subsidiary of Bluehole which works only on one game. Still, it is a bad investment because I think that by the end of the year PUBG won't be as huge as it was last year and everyone who wanted to play it on console probably already bought Xbox One. There is actually zero reason to buy lifetime exclusivity.

MS actually should have bought Sega in early 2000s when they had a great relationship. But if they do this I think that it will only help them get some Japanese games that were PS4 only on Xbox. Because making them exclusive right now would be stupid.

You have to buy when the price is low.
Edit: It's well known that EA ruins every franchise it touches, so it's not surprising - but their sports games rake in a lot of money.

When it come to Sega its actually more than just the Japanese games, Relic Entertainment and Creative Assembly would be pretty big gets for MS if they are trying to enter the PC scene due to the IP that they own.

Well I agree with you no better time than now, and now I have realized that this would mean that MS would have Fifa and Madden as exclusives that would be insane because that would instantly win MS Europe.
Buy EA, please. Fire everyone in charge of any decision making over there. You'd be doing the world of gaming a massive favour.
Funny how people are saying that MS doesn't have the money to buy EA, guess that they forgot that Spencer convinced them to spend 2.5 billion for one IP back when he had less power. With the Trump Tax Bill all the big companies will now bring their offshore money back into the US and are looking to spend.
