I don't know why so many people prefer Halo. I played all Halo games, the third and fourth on the XB360, and the other thanks the MCC...meh.

All games are ok, yes.

But i prefer Gears by a lot. Is only a question of tastes of course, but i think is more funny, more competitive, have a better soundrack, and Marcus Fenix >>>>>>>> Master Chief.

I also prefer the general designing of the level, the characters ecc...

It is my favourite TPS of all time (more than Vanquish and Splatoon, and i love Vanquish and Splatoon :D ) and my second favourite shooter. 

Far Cry is invincible :P

GEARSSSSSSSS. halo is okay, besides for halo 5 which was really fun based off the beta

Halo, I'm not a gears fan and Halo is one of the few FPS games I like.

Played both, I just really preferred the gameplay in Halo over that in gears

Gears is utterly amazing but its story needs to be fleshed out even more. Halo is the game that got me to like fps and it has one of the most epic storylines of any game.

Halo. I much prefer FPS to TPS and I especially dislike cover-based TPS. Kind of funny, considering I vastly prefer TPP melee to FPP melee.

Also, there is something about the broski nature of Gears that bugs me.

Halo because it appeals to me unlike Gears and I'm getting an X1 for Halo 5 mainly.

I have a soft spot for gears. Best exclusive 360 has imo.
