I prefer Gears, but not by much.

Gears cause I have more fun with it. It's also prettier. Plus, I really don't like first person views, I much prefer 3rd person views.

Gears. It started my online MP addiction and was probably 90% of what i played on my 360 while it lasted.

It's no contest in my mind, Gears of War shits all over Halo.

I like gears WAY more! I think halo is a great series, but gears is one of my favorites! (Excluding judgement of course, we can just pretend that game was never made...)

Halo.

I prefer Halo .... but you have to take in consideration the budget and size of team working on each game.

Gears is a budget game when compare to Halo.

Halo is much more mature and better fleshed out. I prefer its universe and characters to those of Gears.

I like the grittyness and gore of Gears, story is a bit ok but nothing that blew my mind at the time, Halo I love for it's story, worlds, guns and online, I liked gears Horde mode for sure and had a blast with friends but I also had great times both on my own and with friends playing the multiple Halo's over the years.
