I like the grittyness and gore of Gears, story is a bit ok but nothing that blew my mind at the time, Halo I love for it's story, worlds, guns and online, I liked gears Horde mode for sure and had a blast with friends but I also had great times both on my own and with friends playing the multiple Halo's over the years.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
