Because all of this is Nintendo's fault.

That's a website specializing in streaming video games. Some games happen to have erotic content. That doesn't make them "porn games". There is erotic content in GoT, it doesn't make it a porn. Neither is it banned from Netflix. |
Except you can't watch Game of Thrones on Netflix. Game of Thrones is often labeled softcore pornography. They're just slapping the label to avoid explicit visual novels and the like from being on the service. You can disagree with it sure, but I don't think it's worth criticism.

That would mean something if there were notable AO games that weren't pornographic. The only one coming up is Hatred which is understandably blocked. |
Read the first post please. It mentions two notable AO games. They're not very recent though, but still, they're notable.

I see this statement a lot, or "Censorship of any kind is bad."
Is the illegality of child pornography censorship? Yes. is it bad? No.
Anyway they clearly aren't banning ALL AO games as San Andreas is still being streamed on twitch and the game is still in their games database. Manhunt is also still in their database. This will be primarily aimed at games with high sexual content.
Twitch seems to making certain games exempt from this rule.

By priests and third wave feminists ?
Copy paste from previous post edit : Just realized 90% of actual porn games don't have a rating in US. Gonna be fun.
Again, there are explicit visual novels and censored steam versions. I don't think seeing a bra on a drawn character will give PTSD to kids, especially when 90% of blockbuster movies not rated adult have explicit sex in them.

This actually does virtually nothing to ban porn games, as they typically aren't rated. You don't need an ESRB rating to release a game on Steam or independently. Additionally, sexual content is already banned so theres that. Unless they are releasing on Consoles, Visual Novels are practically never given an actual ESRB rating.
This decision was really just made for Hatred, as there are only two other games that this bans and neither are relevant (Manhunt 2 and Fahrenheit - Directors Cut AO version). From what I've seen, Hatred didn't even deserve the AO rating in the first place, and Twitch still allows streaming of other games such as Postal 1, which feature similar goals (killing innocents). This was solely a PR move
PS: It is Sakura Spirit that is banned, not Senran Kagura.

They also stated you could play the non-AO versions of those games. So, those games are not inherently banned either.
@sundin
Not true. They were shutting down PS4 streams of Senran Kagura: Estival Versus as there were several people using the Share functionality.
@ ren
This is only an amendment to the rules. Sexually explicit games are still blocked:
Sexually explicit acts or content: Nudity can't be a core focus or feature of the game in question and modded nudity is disallowed in its entirety. Occurrences in game are okay, so long as you do not make them a primary focus of your stream and only spend as much time as needed in the area to progress the game's story.
This means that those Steam versions would be perfectly fine.

GTA SA has a rather controversial history. The "hotcoffee" mini game was only accessible through modding the PC version, which was essentially the same exact game on consoles. But the ESRB still changed the rating to AO to all versions of the game.
Edit: to answer your question, I have no idea because you still can't access the mini game on consoles and it was removed when the game was rereleased.

Huniepop steam version was banned. Also most VNs don't have nudity as a core focus or feature, but as an end route reward (contrarily to popular misconception). Steam version did ask my age though, so I'm not sure how it's rated.
Hotcoffee in GTA:SA is an actual feature though.

Ah, well, it isn't explicitly stated in their banned games list, so it likely fell under "sexual content", more than the game just being banned on sight.
