Yes they are! I have said so much worse on other sites. I toned myself way down for VGC and they still ban me. We should have more freedom of speech and be able to complain about sales as much as we'd like.

Then go on those sites. There are different guidelines for each forum and if you don't want to respect them, then you don't have to. You can leave (which is what I thought you were doing?)
I don't think anyone's outraged that you're complaining about the sales, but it's the way that you're doing it which rubs people the wrong way. Like, insulting mods is just unnecessary and immature.
