Witcher 3 is upon us, I been waiting for this since Witcher 2, but I noticed in the last 24 hours stretch of a game release that I truly want, I start getting impatient, usually around the 1 hour mark I get super impatient and have to find distractions. (Essentially counting down the hours.)

How long before you become impatient for game to finally release? (Or are you never hyped for anything/some kind of saint)

For bloodborne it was the entire week

When the first time I saw Splatoon, Zelda U, and Xenoblade Chron X.

Man I waited about 5 years For company of heroes 2 but when it finally released my laptop was too weak to handle it and haven't upgraded so I'm still waiting (2 years after it released) also would like Zelda to hurry up and release this decade please

Varies from game to game. With Splatoon I have been attempting to be patient since the testfire, however before that I was fine.
Xenoblade x is hard to be patient with since I know it's out in Japan. But Zelda I can continue to be patient for quite a while because other stuff will hold me off.

When a game gets announced, thats where my patience start to drop xD

Never. I rarely get games in the launch window, and there is always enough games to keep me busy in the meantime.

The last guardian is almost here, no need to be upset. Just wait a little longer...

Oh I thought this thread was about how long a wait you find acceptable between announcement and release of a game (1.5 years fyi, longer than that and most game announcements can fuck right off :P).

But to answer the thread: It varies with the game, Persona 5 I'm already impatient, Uncharted 4 I'll probably start getting impatient in the last couple weeks for example.

The wait for Splatoon is starting to kill me : (
